If you are new to this diary, then there are a few things that you should know. *Some of these things may make me look like I'm demeaning you, but they're worth repeating anyway.*
1. This is my diary. That's right. My diary. Not yours, not the diary of anybody else I write about, not even the diary of the President. Darn. Sorry I disappointed you. Besides, see the title? "Sushi's Tail"? If you haven't figured it out, I'm Sushi, the crazy girl who's getting her undies in a bundle over all this.
2. These are my thoughts. This is a diary on MY perspective of life and how I see it. And unless otherwise stated *like if I say something that a friend told me*, these are mine and mine alone. That doesn't mean that you can't share my opinion. Oh, you're perfectly welcome to do so. But I understand the feeling of stealing thoughts and calling them your own.
3. I have a very short-term memory. I got an email from someone awhile back saying that a goldfish has a three-second short-term memory. My short-term memory is even worse than that. I may not quote everybody verbatim in a conversation because I am simply not capable of remembering everything.
4. I usually don't delete entries. I'm not big on deleting entries, like some people I know, just because it hurts one person's feelings. Wah. My only deleted entries is if an entry somehow shows up twice. That's it. I just don't believe in deleting them. In plain English: Just beacuse you read that I hated you last year doesn't necessarily mean that I hate you now. It just means that it's how I felt last year.
5. I have a busy schedule. This one is a particularly for the reviewers who get their field days out of slamming diarists who actually have extremely busy lives about lack of updates. I don't want to be constantly clamored *though occasionally is okay* with update requests because I'm so busy sometimes that updates may be out of the question. (Take March 2003, for example.) And it's usually impossible to write in an online diary if you don't even have access to a computer, riiiiiight?
Well, that's it. Enjoy, and let me know if there's anything I can do!
